Trade alert: Chunky bangles are back
We love fashion bracelets of any kind, so you can guarantee we'll be on top of pretty much any trend that crops up in terms of arm candy.
However, this autumn and winter marks the return of one of our favourite pieces: the chunky bangle. There's always a place for a delicate bracelet - particularly if you're going to a posh event where you want to be toned down yet sophisticated - but a thick cuff just offers up that extra little bit of pizzazz that can provide the perfect finishing touch to an outfit.
We knew chunky bangles were going to be coming up for AW18-19 thanks to the big fashion shows, where they were paraded down the catwalks with gusto.
Alexander McQueen sent models down the runways with stacks of bejewelled bangles all up their arms, while Marni used theirs in a more minimalist way to polish off chic knitwear.
In the world of A-list celebs, we've also been noticing a lot of bangles adorning wrists too, with Katie Holmes being one that springs to mind. She was spotted out and about wearing gold bangles with a sweater dress and dramatic boots, something that really helped to balance things out and make her look fashion-forward.
Interestingly, although there are plenty of jewelled designs a la McQueen and also quite a few wooden styles, it's gold bangles that are really stealing the headlines this season.
Perhaps because they're perfect for this time of year when the leaves turn golden, everyone who's anyone is reaching for a gold fashion bangle or three to give them a bit of a lift when they glance down on the Tube or at work.
And as an added bonus, a chunky bangle can have the effect of making you appear slimmer by drawing the eye down the arm and providing the illusion of a more defined waistline. That's definitely a winner as the party season approaches and we start to pack away one too many vol au vents!
As ever, we have a whole range of bangles available here at Majique, whether you want sparkle-encrusted for a night out, colourful for those dark mornings or classy gold like you might have seen on your Insta feed.
The jewellery buyers among you can also stock up with our excellent jewellery wholesale prices, meaning you'll have a full range of bangles to suit your customers this autumn and winter.
We'd start with this pretty rose gold-toned bangle with purple stones, which will be great for what's left of autumn and all the way into winter.
There's also this pretty gold-toned style with a leaf motif, which is another big trend for this season.
